2nd Annual Writer’s Conference
Minneapolis, MN // The Faith Radio Network and University of Northwestern have partnered to host the second annual Northwestern Christian Writers Conference. This event, open to all aspiring and published authors, will provide writers with the opportunity to learn from successful authors, acquisitions editors, and literary agents. This two-day event will take place on July 13-14, 2018 on the campus of the University of Northwestern in St. Paul, MN. The conference provides the opportunity for authors to launch their writing career.
Susie Larson, conference faculty member, multi-published author, national speaker, and host of Live the Promise on Faith Radio says, “Whenever folks ask me for advice on getting published, I tell them to get to a writer’s conference.” Larson is one of 36 faculty members that will represent every aspect of the publishing industry. Bestselling author and international speaker, Sheila Walsh, is the keynote speaker, and Liz Curtis Higgs will give a special address Friday evening
The Conference has expanded from last year to offer three Friday tracks; Jumpstart,
Advanced, and Songwriters. Each track is geared to hyper-serve the attendee based on their current career status and can be attended independent of the Conference. There will be times for worship, keynote addresses, breakout sessions offering a total of 21 workshops, and exclusive 1:1 appointments with acquisitions editors, literary agents and authors. Appointments are limited and available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
